Annual servicing to BS 5306-3, replacement units, and fire blanket inspection, all handled in one visit.
The annual basic service
Every extinguisher on site is checked for pressure, weight, corrosion, seal condition, hose and horn condition, and correct signage and mounting. The service label is updated and the unit is returned to its designated position, because an extinguisher two rooms from where the risk assessment says it should be is a finding waiting to happen.
Extended and overhaul servicing
Water, foam and powder extinguishers need a more thorough extended service at set intervals, and CO2 units need periodic pressure testing. We track those dates for you so nothing quietly falls out of date between annual visits.
Fire blanket inspection
Kitchen fire blankets are easy to forget and simple to check. While we are on site we confirm each blanket is present, undamaged, correctly mounted at the right height, and still within its service life.
What you receive
- A schedule of every extinguisher by type, size, location and service date
- A record of any unit condemned, with the reason
- A certificate for your fire logbook
- A quote for replacements, with no pressure to buy on the day
